That Digital Mum was built to help beginners create and sell digital products in a way that feels clear, doable, and realistic — especially if you’re starting from scratch.

Hi, I’m Carly — a mum, a wife, and the founder of That Digital Mum.

Before this, I've always worked as a finance professional in a very corporate Monday to Friday 9–5 role.

I had no design background, no creative training, and no online business experience.

I just knew I wanted something different for our family. Not only financially, but in the way we lived and worked.

I wanted more freedom. Freedom to work on something of our own. Freedom to build around family life. Freedom to choose where we live, instead of being tied to one place.

So I opened my first Etsy store.

It started small. One product, then another, learning as I went. Not perfectly. Not all at once. Just step by step.

Over time, those small steps turned into multiple Etsy stores, our own website, and a digital products business that now supports our family full time.

In September 2025, we moved from the UK to Spain, and my husband Ray left his job to work full time in the business.

That freedom is the reason this business matters so much to me — and it’s why I created That Digital Mum.

To make starting feel simpler

There is so much noise online that beginners often end up stuck before they begin. I wanted to create products that make the next step feel obvious and manageable.

To help mums build something real

This brand was built with real life in mind — family life, limited time, self-doubt, and the desire to create more freedom without needing everything figured out first.

To show that one product can change a lot

You do not need a huge business to begin. You need a starting point, a simple path, and the willingness to take the first step.
